International Field Reports

1st International Report

About 32 hectares of farm growing alfalfa for 1000 head of sheep, dates, and small patches of vegetables. His water is 4800-5080 PPM salts from 3 wells. He also has a problem with coliform in the water with one well testing out at 200 colonies per 100m/1 of water. His alfalfa was being cut every 20 days at about 15"-18" in height and the stems were hollow indicating poor food production by the plant. After installation of the electrical conditioning systems on the three wells, the following happened:

1) Alfalfa is now growing to 24"-30" in height prior to the 20 day cutting. This is happening even though he is using a sprinkler gun water system that throws the water into the air for about 50 feet before it comes down. This is the worst type of irrigation system especially in Saudi Arabia because of the extremely dry atmospheric conditions with less than 10% humidity most of the warmer months which concentrates the salts in the water not evaporated as it flies through the air.

2) Alfalfa is 90% solid stem now because the electrical unit is supplying missing nutrients and the plant is able to get from the soil the remaining nutrients it could not get before from the soil due to the salt.

3) No more salt build up in the soil. We had soil samples taken from the first three months and the soil salinity dropped 30% in those three months. The salt does not stop up the irrigation system anymore either.

4) The System has reduced the coliform colonies by 80% according to test done by the Saudi Environmental Health Department. These units have now been in operation for 14 months and he won't let me touch them, although I plan to offer him an upgrade to the latest Electrical System, I believe will even show a dramatic improvement over what he has already seen.

2nd  International Report

An electrical conditioner unit was installed in an agricultural farm which has an extension of one acre dedicated to the cultivation "astromelia" (a flower that has been exported for over 10 years).

The farm is located in Bogotá’s savanna, Tocancipa District with an altitude of 4,500 feet above sea level and a temperature of over 14 degrees Celsius.

The soil is very heavy, with a content of about 50% or more clay, therefore is has poor draining conditions. This type of soil is very far from ideal for the cultivation of these types of plants because they form a fleshy Rhizome, with very rich organs of carbohydrate reserves therefore in conditions of poor draining it is prone to spoilage due to fungus or bacteria.

The unit of no more that 2 inches is working for all irrigation done in the cultivation (2 or 3 a week) depending on weather conditions, with a consumption of more than 250 m3 per acre a week. Two out of the three irrigations are fertilized with major and minor elements. The irrigation has an electric conductivity of approximately 1.0 milliohms / centimeter.

The quantity for the irrigation water is good, coming from a deep well and it's classified as E, S, according with the international norms of water for agricultural use.

The soil and foliar analysis are sent to Southern Lab, U.S.A., the largest chain of laboratories of soil and foliar analysis.

The vegetal material from which the farm came was acquired in Colombia, from fields that no longer have a patent in force of commercial propagation, and was of poor quality because it originated from old plants that had more than 8 years of continuous commercial flower production. At the present time, the plants present an optimal state of development and the flowers that were initially intended for local market sale, are being exported to the United States, Brazil and Russia.

Its quality is very good and what has attracted most attention from the clients is the great foliage duration (18 days and sometimes more), since it is known that one of the most critical points of this flower is that its leaves usually don't last in good shape for more than 12 days. Furthermore, stem diameter was increased. Even better than the new varieties produced in Holland made available in the Colombian market for the past two or three years.

The electrical conditioner unit has been working continually for 6 months, it has not presented any time of operational failure and its use is extremely easy.  Another important point of view that needs to be emphasized is that the farm has reduced the use of fertilizers of mineral origin by 30%, at the same time the farm helps with its fertilization with a fertilizer biological.

3rd International Report

1) As you know we installed a system on a greenhouse belonging to Al Gordon Agriculture Company for testing. He has 70 greenhouses of which 3 acres are devoted to tomatoes, and we installed the electrical conditioner unit with a green box on one of these houses. He called after three days and said he could already tell a difference.  At the end of two months, he called and said it looked like he was going to get at least a 60% increase in production from this one house. You have to remember that these tomato vines were already 5 foot high when the unit was installed. Also, his water TDS was running about 3500 PPM.

I went to his greenhouse and took some pictures of as high as 14 tomatoes developing on single bloom stems. You could visually see the difference between the vines in this greenhouse and the rest of the greenhouses. Also, he stopped using chemicals for insects and viruses as the plants didn't need any due to their health. He sprayed them a couple of times a week with the water from the electrical unit.

2) A university professor put a unit in his house and began to water the plants in his garden and yard. He is very happy as he had had a difficult time growing anything with 5000 PPM TDS water. Now he has more tomatoes than he knows what to do with and his dates have doubled their normal production. His lemon tree has bloomed for the first time ever and he is growing flowers where he could not grow them before. At the same University they installed a electrical conditioner unit in their greenhouse system and I met with their landscape manager last week. He told me that they were getting 100% germination of seeds, cuttings were rooting about one week ahead of normal, and the sod was growing very fast with less water. They requested a triple box for special testing of spray watering of plants and to test soil salinity. They have about 18,000 trees, 20,000 meters of hedges, 400,000 square meters of grass, not counting flower beds at the university. They said this test was tremendously important to the university.

3) An electrical conditioner is installed on greenhouse at a farm.  In conversation three weeks ago he said the results looked good although the unit has only been installed for about two weeks.

ADDENDUM

We have a good report on the conditioner installed at the University greenhouse. They seeded two plots of flowers and watered one with their normal water and the other with water from the electrical  unit with the triple box (three frequencies). The plants grew so fast in (3) three weeks that 75% have already been transplanted because they were so big. The other plot will still need probably another two weeks to be big enough to transplant. They are also watering some Bermuda grass turf and it is turning very green and thick. They watered some Bougainvillea cuttings that they were rooting with water, and some of them are putting out blooms at the same time they are putting on leaves. I couldn't believe my eyes. They want me to come and talk to their manager tomorrow morning.

4th International Report

Poultry grower.  We  installed a unit; on the main water supply and another on the drinking water for the chickens. His local water supply runs from 3500 - 3800 PPM salt and was never fed to the chickens because of the salts. He hauled an average of 17,000 GPD of sweet; water for the chickens' drinking water. We suggested that; he blend half and half of the sweet; water with his local raw water and this was to go through the electrical unit; to the chickens. To our surprise they stopped all sweet; water and fed the chickens their local raw water which was coming through the conditioner.  The chickens were already 20 days old when we found this out; this is what; we observed and were told by the chicken farm manager.

1) No sweet; water was used on this batch of 120,000 chickens. He saved all his sweet; water cost...

2) No sick chickens and the mortality rate went; down from about; 8% to less than 1%, even though he was watering them with high salt water which normally would have increased his sickness and mortality rate.  I had a similar experience in Barranquilla Colombia where we were able to see a mortality rate of 1.3%, a vast improvement.

3) Chickens grew to selling weight; 5 days ahead of normal with most; weighing about; 2 kilograms (4.4 lbs.) in 35 days instead of 40 - 42. This saved him several tons of feed.  These systems have been in operation for about; 9 months now and they are continuing to provide benefits.

5th International  Report

Immediately upon installation of the electrical  unit; and the cessation of the use of chemicals, all his workers stopped having sore throats and sick stomachs all the time. This was brought; to our attention by the farm manager who was very happy with the change because of the labor hours caused by this health problem. This farmer also got; an increase of 2 – 3 gallons per minute in product water after installation of the electrical unit; The T.D.S. of the product water will normally increase 10-25% after the installation of the electrical unit; until the membranes have been cleaned by the electrical units’ energy field. Another sweet; water supplier is using an electrical unit; on his R.O. unit; that; produces sweet; water for sale. He uses no chemicals except; for adjusting the pH of the product; water. The oldest; unit; in operation for R.O. units is now almost one year old and no membranes have had to be cleaned or replaced.

6th International Report

This is a large farm with 5000 head of sheep, citrus trees, alfalfa, grapes, and dates. He has four electrical units.   Well water comes from about; 2500 feet; below ground and has only about; 1200 - 1300 PPM salts, but; the iron is ten times more than normal for potable water and sulfates are so high that; the raw water smells like sewer water. We observed and documented the following:

1) Alfalfa product has increased about; double, and now has solid stems instead of hollow stems. 2) Water has no sewer smell what so ever.

3) The iron no longer clogs up the irrigation system and the holding tanks and the water stays clear about five times as  long as before. He normally had to clean the iron scale out; of his tanks once a month and since installation of the electrical units11 months ago, he has only cleaned them once. The same applies to his irrigation system. He has only cleaned them once since installing the electrical units.

4) His citrus tree had double the normal amount of blooms this past; season even though they were just planted and some even produced fruit.

5) No salt; accumulation in the soil as noted visually and by soil salinity tests.

7th International Report

An African university.  All the teachers are trained in the U.S. or England. Their water comes from their own wel1s that have risen in salinity in the past 5 years from 3000 PPM to 4800 - 5000 PPM in 1995. They have three electrical conditioner units under test in different areas. A conditioner is on the housing director's home and another is on their huge dish washing machines, and another System is on their nursery. The present situation is as follows:

1) The unit on the director's home has not been on long enough for results to be determined. The latest system was installed a couple of weeks ago. If they are satisfied with the results they will install units on the main water supply to all the housing to control scale and corrosion.

2) The unit on the dishwasher has been in operation about one year now and the University has just ordered 4 more for the rest of the dishwashers. They report, and I have seen with my own eyes, that their dishwashers are corrosion and scale free. The heating elements look just like they have just been installed, with no scale observed at all.

3) The unit on the nursery has been tested in a number of ways, seed germination, rooting, growth, blooms, spraying of indoor and outdoor plants with 4800 PPM salt water. Seed germination is the highest they have ever had, everything they stuck in the ground to root took root and put out leaves and even bloomed before the control section got started; plants from seeds grew out ready to be transplanted on an average of 3 weeks ahead of normal planting and had larger and healthier blooms. They sprayed the indoor and outdoor plants with the 4800 PPM water and observed that those plants actually outgrew the plants sprayed with "sweet" water. They are very happy with what they have seen with this unit.

A Scientific test at a university.  One extensive test occurred at one of the best technical training colleges in Africa, with their soil, water, and plant study department one of the best. A young teacher in this department came to us requesting the opportunity to test the electrical unit scientifically and write up the results in scientific journals and reports. We gave him a system with five 1000 liter tanks, solenoid valves and set up everything up for him on their research farm.  He measured soil, water, and soil salinity before beginning anything. The tanks were filled with water of different salinities as follows: 960 PPM (control water), 3000 PPM, 6000 PPM, 9000 PPM, and 12000 PPM. This test was begun the latest part of November and I visited the project on January 21, 1996and the professor was excited about what they had witnessed so far. We observed the following:

1) The cucumbers growing from 3000 PPM water were as large as the control group with production s1ightly less than the control group, but the quality was as good as or better than the control group.

2) The cucumber vines on 6000 PPM water were about 25% smaller in size than the control group with another 25% drop in production.

3) The vines getting 9000 PPM water was about 40 % of the control group size but was still producing cucumbers.

4) The vines that were getting 12,000 PPM water were about 6-8" tall with about 30 % mortality rates but the ones that were surviving had blooms with small cucumbers forming. They said that these were good result because they had never had any cucumber survive the 6000 PPM water, much less the 12,000 PPM water. This testing will be finished in about one more month and they now have the new system to use on the next set of tests and we expect to see far greater results from this more powerful system.

JMH - I believe these tests can be duplicated in Canada and observed for case studies. These tests are several years old with earlier systems.  Current upgraded systems should have even better results. I believe we are actually polarizing the water with a positive signal, thus the retention of the water at the surface level.

Note:  The international reports were not installed or monitored by Eco-Tex Ag Solutions, but I am pleased to share the data with interested parties.
